So far as the Book of Daniel is concerned, the most important feature of the futurist interpretation is the placing of the present dispensation as a parenthesis between the sixty-ninth and seventieth "weeks" of Dan. 9. From this follow the corollary that Daniel's prophecies regarding the "end-time" relate to the period subsequent to the removal of the Church from the world at the Second Coming of Our Lord. This is the view adopted in this book. (from the preface)
