O livro "Jesus Vem", de W. L. B., foi o primeiro livro que tornou a vinda de Jesus Cristo numa realidade viva para mim. Eu já estava convencido de que a vinda do nosso Senhor seria antes do milénio, tendo chegado a essa conclusão ao estudar as obras do teólogo Dinamarquês Martensen, mas era apenas um conceito teológico, até que li o livro "Jesus Vem". Foi isso que me levou a ter convicções definidas e tornou a doutrina não somente clara, mas muito preciosa. É um dos livros que teve uma influência decididamente formativa na minha vida e no meu ensino. Eu recomendo-o sempre àqueles que estão a começar o estudo deste assunto. The book, "Jesus is Coming," by W. L. B., was the first book that made the coming of Jesus Christ a living reality to me. I had already become convinced that our Lord's coming would be before the millennium, having reached that conclusion in studying the works of the Danish theologian, Martensen, but it was merely a theological conception until I read the book "Jesus is Coming." It was this that first brought me to definite convictions and made the doctrine not only clear, but very precious. It is one of the books that has had a decidedly formative influence on my life and teaching. I always recommend it to those who are beginning the study of
the subject. I hope that it may be as much blessed to others as it has been to me.
