The outstanding purpose of this book is to help the unbeliever see his lost condition outside of Christ; to help him see his need of being IN Christ. If the unbelieving reader will resolve to study carefully the Scripture texts and the comments contained in this book, he will not only see his lost condition but will realize it fully in all of its horribleness. Then, with revelation by the Divine Word of God, the Bible, he will have unfolded to him the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ which alone is able to deliver him from the horribleness of being lost outside of Christ and, it will be revealed to him how he may be found IN Christ. Then, to the Christian reader, this book will be cause for rejoicing anew for that wonderful day when he, dead in trespasses and sin, was brought to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Also, the Christian will greatly desire to place this book in the hands of unbelieving loved ones and friends, thus possibly being the means of helping them to see their need of Christ.
